Spore angers Atheists?

Apparently spore hit the wrong button with Atheists. Will Wright has been getting more negative responses from "Militant Atheists" than any religion. Check it.

I see how the game could affect any creationists, but how does it tick the Atheists? I can see a " anybody will get pissed about everything" coming around from it.

atheists believe there is no god - some believe it so intently that they attack others for their beliefs. basically, their belief in No God becomes their religion.

agnostics believe that there very well could be a god, but there might not, no one can really know. they're generally very laid back and are the last to give two shits what anyone else believes.

If i wasnt already a Christian, i would side with the Agnostics. They show much more of my "dont care, stfu" attitude. Is this a touchy subject for you coffee?

nvm, religion is always going to be a touchy subject. But Spore is still going to be awesome!

nvm, religion is always going to be a touchy subject. But Spore is still going to be awesome!

nope. I'm basically agnostic. I like not caring either way what people think. I do think organized religion is the devil.

Anyway, Spore isn't the first game to involve religion. But I suppose since it somewhat revolves around evolution, the atheist crowd is getting their panties in a wad.
