VR-Zone has rounded up ATi's new mobile line-up and thrown it into a chart for comparison with the newest Nvidia cards. Still not much as far as specifications, but the mainstream Mobility Radeon HD 3650 is already appearing in some notebooks, notably Toshiba's new A300. Also rumored to be featured in upcoming Lenovo Thinkpads. Is this the sign of a comeback for AMD/ATi in the mobile market?

We have revealed earlier about Nvidia's upcoming line-up for mobile graphics and now we check out how their competitor, AMD/ATI line-up for their mobile graphics. AMD plans to have dual graphics mobile solutions for their top end line; the Mobility Radeon HD 3870 X2 and 3850 X2. It seems Nvidia's top solution is a single GeForce 9800M GTX here. However, notebook maker Dell has offered dual graphics solution before with the dual GeForce 8800M GTX (G92) card equipped with 1GB memories so we wouldn't be surprised if there is a similar solution for the GeForce 9800M series offered by notebook makers themselves.
it should also be noted that ATi's image quality has always been top notch. although they're not the king of the hill, in the mid lines they still have some great looking and affordable cards.
