Thats right the Aussie site CHOICE has a list of average expenses from technology equipment (from a Computer to a DVD player to the consoles).

| | I own both the wii and the PS3 and considering the graphical and processing demands this is not hard at all to believe. But I must say that the wii is 100% more fun to play where as the PS3 is more or less a PC with amazing graphics and immersing play, the wii is the arcade

: 42 nd | | | The german guy I work with is testing EVERYthing at our work for power consumption and has this massive excel sheet with all the information on it. It's pretty damn nuts/excessive, but shows some crazy stuff about how much money we waste leaving monitors on all the time.

: 9 th | | | Haha I'd take those numbers with a HUGE grain of salt. I do not think my 360 consumes nearly half of my electricity usage per month. Of course those numbers represent 24/7 usage I assume, in that case its plausible I suppose.
