In a 12" laptop, is a 256mb HD3450 worth anything for gaming? I know it's a lower end gpu, but would it run TF2 in low-graphics mode?

I've seen people claim to be able to game with the 8400M (I know, not the one you asked about), I just have a hard time believing that it's at any acceptable kind of fps. If it's in a notebook, I have to think it's going to be a cut down version of the card...probably outstanding for video playback, and maybe even some games, and while Source does scale very well, I just don't see it happening (but please if you get it, or find a link and prove me wrong, come back and shove it in my face, I know you probably will anyway).

if i wanted to go back to Vista on a laptop, I'd have this at the top of my list. i'm hooked on OS X though, so no dice on this one for me. but its a great little machine at a great price for what it is.

They call it a MBA killer without comparing it. Hmmm. It is one badass computer though.

Yeah, I don't think they had a MBA laying around, any more than they'll have the Envy laying around after they review it.

the Macbook was probably somebody's machine who worked there, just gives some perspective.
