| | | Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution for PS3 and 360 One of my all-time favorite game series is getting released on the PS3 and 360 Console systems. Quote:
Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution may just very well be the smartest video game ever created!
An intelligent translation of on one of the best PC gaming franchises of all time, Civilization Revolution certainly has the pedigree necessary to succeed. Developed by Firaxis and the legendary game designer, Sid Meier, Civilization Revolutions delivers on its promise of an epic gaming experience with engaging strategic turn-based gameplay that does not feel overly complicated or slow-moving. Gamers who loved titles like Advance Wars should pay attention: this one's for you.

This is seriously one of my favorite franchises of all time. My brother and I own all incarnations of it, and I've gotten all my friends hooked on it. It is seriously the best turn-based strategy game out there. Hopefully this game lives up to the reputation. I may just buy it and throw a review up here, in fact...I probably will buy it. | Me as well, and all the expansions. The original came with one of our computers. We used to think the only part in the series we were missing was CivNet (if that is the proper name), but it turns out our oldest brother had it.
In case you were curious, here is a list of all (I believe) versions. Civilization series |

| haha, my brother is much better at this game and more a fanatic since this is the extent of his PC gaming (besides occasionally playing whatever I am playing and the microsoft games).
Anywho, he blows a shitload when anything doesn't work right. I think he went ballistic when 3 or 4 first got released, and warriors could take out the tanks. There was also an issue of queing up stuff. Eitherway, it's all fixed now.
Civ IV: Beyond the Swords is incredibly fun. I have only Civ IV:Warlords because that's all they have on the Mac, and it feels like a complete difference in level of fun you have.
I remember the original from Maxis came with a flying game as well. |

: 9 th | | | The demo for the 360 was pretty good, certainly not as in depth. as the pc versions. Great way to kill a couple of hours or days for that matter on the pc side depending on your settings

| Yeah. But any problem was fixed via patches if I remember correctly. I remember my brother came back to the game, and found the patch...I believe.
I have Warlords on my Mac, and it doesn't have that problem. |
