E308: Brand New HUGE Multiplayer Title: Mag

Sony surprised everyone at E3, with this new announcement... that involved a new multilayer experience.

Andy from Zipper Interactive introduced a game called Mag. "Mag is a new IP that will immerse players on a scale never before seen on consoles."

Although the trailer is CGI, it gives off a modern military setting with a combination of Quake Wars and Battlefield. Vehicles including planes tanks and more and can involve battles with up to 256 players.

Wow!!!! What a statement. 256 players on a console?

//would be cool for each squad of 8-12 people to have own channel, though, with squad leader linked to company commander, etc

tribes i sthe only good 14+ player game imo, well tf2 aswell.

anyone remember when the BF2 guys were testing out 128 man servers? was sick. i'd be ALL OVER A 256 MAN MATCH...

...if it was on a PC :-0

Yeah...with 256 players in a server you can have epic battles!

Apply it to different games, and you can even do some recreations of old battles. THAT WOULD BE EPIC! Even cooler would be if in they did an American Civil War battle, and they placed you in the Union or Confederacy based on your IP address
