All Intel CPUs vulnerable?

Security dude Kris Kaspersky finds flaw in all Intel CPUs:

Now, I don't think this is anything like a regular security hole - this takes a hell of a lot more than a script-kiddie to take advantage of a system. Obviously Intel will be watching, but it's not like they can patch your CPU.

They may need to replace the effected CPU's or more likely Microsoft will release a patch to protect windows users...

I would hope that this guy wouldn't release anything that can't be fixed.

And doesn't the writter of the article know, that you can't attack a mac because mac users say so?

I doubt this is something that's going to catch like wildfire.

No way...

Kris Kaspersky is extremely smart & has written many books related to hacking and programming... This is not something that he's going to tell people exactly how to do... However I am sure he will ultimately tell Intel how to do it...

If Kris Kaspersky says this is something that he can do, I'm sure he can...

Interesting, I wonder what feature of the Intel CPU it attacks? I mean an obvious one would be the hardware virtualization layer but that wouldn't affect all Intel CPUs. I love watching the videos from the HITB confereneces when they make them available via bit torrrent a few months after the conference.
