Correct, its also a name of an Native American tribe from the region. Intel has used several other Oregon locations as proccessor names.
Cedar Mill, Klamath, Tualatin, Deschutes and Willamette.
Also I think that it will be on the shelves this Winter, probably in in late October. They want to counter anything (i.e. Fusion) that AMD can possibly put out. And nobody really cares about what it is called, just as long as its wtfpwn fast as it has been predicted.
