Internet Explorer 8, beta 2 released

IE8 Beta 2 has been released.

I wasn't thrilled with the first beta. And that's an understatement. But I accept that it's beta (not "google beta", but real beta).

I'm running IE8 beta 2 now. much better responsiveness, so I'll actually try it out this time for awhile.

Vega: this one has InPrivate Browsing.


Let me know what you like and dislike about the new IE8.

NOTE: For Windows XP, Windows Live Mail not compatible with beta 2.

yeah, should be a pretty decent browser, especially if it passes ACID-2. And the privacy thing is interesting, but I was hoping it was going to be more of a "lock down" feature to prevent stuff from getting on your machine. I got the same trojan recently on both MCE AND 64 bit.. which is unusual .. not entirely sure how I got it, but 99% sure it was from viewing some questionable content through either IE7 or WMP.. hehe
