Interesting how thiefs are going to much higher lengths in order to score some bucks. It's sad when we're not even safe at our own supermarkets. It's also no wonder that the FBI, CIA, DEA, and NSA are needing IT, engineers, and scientists to stop these high-tech crimes these days. More on this story here.

You would not believe the places I see open AP's...

I've seen them at Stores, Restaurants, Schools, and Businesses dealing with very sensitive information, etc...

As far as those who are responsible for such networks... I find they are often Graduates with a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, many of them attended a vocational school like ITT Tech, some attended a normal 4 year College or University...

Typically they have very little to no Critical Thinking / Troubleshooting skills, they are able to memorize information quickly, they often do not think through or care about how something is done (only that their boss believes its been done correctly), and last but not least... They know how to call me.

BTW: There is a group trying to pass laws in CA requiring companys to disclose to customers when information has been stolen, and there are plans to even require regular audits to be done...

Its going to be hard on small business; but, there does need to be something done...

ITT Tech fails. I hate that school. All their graduates don't know shit when they get out.

I have yet to see any school which is consistent in producing good graduates who are skilled.
