While looking for ways to enjoy my new 1080p monitor this weekend, I installed all of my games to my pc. When I installed both Need For Speed Most Wanted and Need For Speed Carbon I realized that neither games supported widescreen resolutions
After a couple hours of searching I found 2 programs which allow you to enter your own Custom Resolutions for the games to be rendered in.

While Most Wanted looks great it does appear to be stretched some to accomodate for widescreen, where Carbon looks amazing and true to its aspect ratio.
When you D/L these files unzip them into your root game folder ( the folder with the speed.exe file in it. Once you set your custom resolution just click launch and your game will start in the res you entered
