| | | Well...if you're looking for old school I'd definitely go with any of the id games: Quake 1-3, Doom (and 2 through Final Doom), Counter Strike Source (that's a no brainer, one of the best fps of all time!), and my new favorite Call of Duty 4. You can buy all of these on steam if that's your thing, or from wherever you choose. Steam has an awesome deal going on for all of its games now, up until New Years, with most games/game packs for up to 50% off! GO GO GO!

| | First, i didnt know that we had community members that dont know anything about games, secondly, What are the specs on your comp? if you have anything good id suggest the higher end games like Crysis, COD4, World in Conflict, Supreme Commander and the like. but if it is just a new office comp i would definately go with alot of the games on Steam. CSS of course. Try out Black and White 2 if you are not into the FPS online scene. Or give Dawn of War a try. a definite favorite of mine is HomeWorld 2, but i would be suprised if you can find that on the shelves of any retail store.
Edit
Steam is a program that allows for the purchase, download, and organization of video games on your computer. Welcome to Steam

: 78 th | | | oh man...well, start with Steam. The entire ID Software suite is awesome...you get all the dooms, quakes and more. It's inexpensive and really fun stuff. |

| | | If you hope on getting caught up, i would set a certain time period that you would like to start back at. So say, start with Summer of 07 and work your way to now. Can we get someone to make a list of all of the best games from that time?
