Looking For a Good Flight Combat Game

I'm looking for a decent online flight combat sim that I can easily play with a couple of friends. Preferably one that's a little older and not too demanding spec-wise. And if possible, one where we can form private games without actually renting server space, ala Blizzard's Battle.net. Any suggestions?

I heard this game called The Air Force is really realistic

JANES USAF is really realistic, but it's hard to find a copy now. Didn't really make it big at the time.

LockOn fits the bill. And I give lessons. Because it's more of a flight sim.
