Sports games for PC

I've always been a big fan of the football games for consoles. At the moment I don't own a console and don't want to buy one. Are there actually people that play the sports games online where I can find an opponent? Anyone own any sports games for PC?

Madden on the consoles is huge. Dont think the pc following of madden is much of anything though. Football on the PC just doesn't work well.

if you want a wide crowd for a game like madden id go with 360. ps3's numbers will rise, but i have grown to like the 360 madden. cant say much for pc, i dont know anyone who has ever played pc sports games

I bought an arcade controller for PC to play them, but console sports games are easier.

Madden 07 (although now I have a 360, so I'll get 09 for it)
NHL 2004
Fifa 08
