With a lot of help from a fellow gamer, I installed a game demo called Gorky 02 Aurora Watching. In their forums, it is described by other gamers to be similiar to Metal Gear Solid. There isnt a US/UK (English) release yet but if anyone wants the adventure of trying out a Polish version of this game, Psycho Mantis at the Metropolis-Software forums provided a 'map' to the games Main Menu and links to download the demo. The game environment is cold and isolated. Stealth action. An English release is coming soon.
