help building computer

ok so i've had quite enough of valve's bull**** updates on counterstrike... i swear to god i cant even play anymore. i used to get 60-70 fps, now i get 14-15. looked all over steamforums, plenty of people are having the same problem, and it doesnt sound like valve has any intentions of fixing it anytime soon.

so im thinking of just finally building a new comp. can anybody help me get started with a good site to get stuff for cheap?

Sounds like an expensive fix to a Steam problem. What if when you're done, the new PC plays the same?

i dont have an exact budget, especially cuase i have no idea how much this stuff is gonna cost haha. whats the average custom built PC go for without a monitor?

and denny i need to upgrade my comptuer anyway... im running a laptop with a 64mb video card and it blows
