Okay so my motherboard is the Intel 945GCL I think

Okay so I want the exact same motherboard but I want it to have 2 more Ram slots(So I want 4 total ram slots)
and another PCI Express* x16

Because I want 4 gigs of ram
and
Dual 8600GTS
any suggestions?

Or do you think that I could buy to 2 gig stick and pop em in?
And It says that Core 2 duo is supported by this mobo what Core 2 duo processor?
I wouldn't mind upgrading to that processor
I also want Quad core lol but I don't think I have that much money..

If you don't already have the first 8600GTS, forget SLI, 8800Gt kills 8600 GTS in SLI, and they aren't even quite as fast as one good 8800GTS.

order it from newegg, they have em in stock despite the shortage

Okay so I want the 8800GT because any other GPU wont fit in my case....
will this work on PCI-E16?
How much power does this need?

8800GT uses about 110W, which is less than what an 8800GTS uses (~140W). 8800GTS uses 1 PCI-e power connector, so the GT will as well.

and yes, it will use one 16x lane

IMHO there's no reason to get a fancy version. the plain jane 512MB for ~$260 is a steal

LOL, I can't believe in one week the prices have gone up 50 bucks.

you can thank nVidia for yet again another paper launch. Prices are up so much because there's no supply. sorry Nate, I hadn't kept track.
