| | | Crysis demo won't launch
Yeah, the fish knows he's a little late to the game, but he just finished his new pc build and figured, why not abuse the new system by tryin to play the crysis demo.
Except after a 20 hour download the crysis demo simply brings up a window, then the monitor goes back like the game is trying to launch, then, BAM, sitting right back on the desktop for no apparent reason.
Tried reinstalling.... didnt work.

| | Yeah Ive got the lastest video drivers, 1st thing I did after disabling mouse acceleration 
I just messed around with diff X38 chipset drivers, now it seems to launch fine but bsod's shorly after

: 92 nd | | Sounds like incompatible drivers to me. I think the demo has a different compatibility than the full version. I remember that happening to me too. Launched the game and it would just revert to desktop. When I got it working, it would crash about 20 minutes inot the game with a BSOD. I forget what I did to fix it though =/ Yeah, I think I just uninstalled it 
Maybe it's your crappy ATi card

| | | FIsh what are your specs? I don't feel like trying to find the thread with them in it...personally I wouldn't worry about it to much. Crysis is a gay game anyway.

I had no idea, but i just wanted to upgrade to something cool right away, I didn't really look down the road.
I do however think I've got a case of some memory modules that need RMA'ing.....
Supposed enthusiast memory, which on stock timings and 2.3 voltage continues to crash windows randomly when I set it to anything close to (but still below) its advertised speed.
The fish is not happy or sure
