Using Team Speak. Please Help!
Newbie Here!!
Can some one explain to me how this team speak works?? I have it dowloaded. I just dont get how to do it with COD4. This is what I have been doing...I bring up multiplayer.Find a server that looks good. Get the sever Addy. Put it into team speak. I always get an error in team speak. It says server may not be using team speak. I just don't get this. Please help!!!

teamspeak servers are different IP's then the game server, you have to find a server that uses teamspeak and probably goto their community/forums and find the IP there

Ok..the servers for team speak don't have actual cod4 room where you play?? Sorry to be a pain...this is all new. I love the game it is great. I'm trying to play with my brother and we really need to be able to communicate.

nope, you have to find those servers separately, usually in-game the server will advertise a teamspeak IP but just because you have a COD4 server running does not mean a teamspeak server is up as well. teamspeak is a 3rd party application so its not build into cod4

you and your brother are welcome to use the straferight vent (Ventrilo) server. Ventrilo is like teamspeak but a different brand so to speak.

there is a cod4 channel where you can talk to other people playing CoD4. Or you can grab a room in the plublic room section
