: 63 rd | | | Graphics Question. Im currently using my 32inch HDTV as a monitor right now, i have it connected to the computer by a VGA/DVI converter-->VGA Cord--> VGA port on the TV. Will i get any change in picture if i have a DVI to HDMI chord instead of the VGA connection?

| | | Fully power down the TV, then plug in the HMDI cable, then power back up. Not doing this can sometimes cause the TV not to be recognized. Then go into your settings and pick the 16:9 resolution you want and enjoy the new sharper picture.

: 64 th | | | i've got a question concerning graphics, when i view movies, and go full screen on my monitor, the picture is often sort of pixelated, I believe it is due to the resolution the movie is shot at, but is there any way to enhance my picture a bit? it kind of makes me wonder why buy a better monitor if my movies look like pooh anyways.

| Are you talking a DVD movie? Or some crunched, compressed, ripped, P2P'd internet thing?
If you're talking some .avi file, right click the file, select Properties, then Details. Check the resolution. If your screen is 1280x1024 and the video is 320x240, you're going to seriously see how awful low resolution movies are on a higher resolution screen. This is the reason why idiots who buy a high definition TV and don't have HD content from their cable or satellite provider look at standard definition TV on their new set and puke over the low quality.
