I was thinking about making them and selling them to friends and stuff for alittle profit there alot cheaper to make then a SLI set up.. Atm I'm running all the stuff for SLI but never really decided to go that coarse with this first system build. What I got atm would have been perfect for a microATX rig plus cheaper i bet.. that is if u can fit a 8800 in it.. theres some smaller ones that prolly would. Most microATX mobos have the sata's right in front of the damn PCI Express so yea..
Is there any problems or issues w/ building a microATX?
No problems really. sometimes you can't get get a motherboard with a specific chipset in a MicroATX but other than that nothing negative. You usually can get some pretty good deals on barebone kits in MicroATX formfactor making the system cheaper to build. Some of the kits are a little skimpy on the power supplies but they're solid if you stick with the integrated graphics on the motherboard. Its when you put in dedicated sound & video cards that the included PSUs can't handle it.
