| | | What Ram should i buy Looking to play warhammer online when it comes out and need to upgrade my Ram. I have a dell xps gen 2 laptop with
ddr2 Ram 512 mbytes pc2-4300(266 mhz)
Do I need pc2-4300 ram? or pc2-4300 266mhz? is there any other stats I should be looking at? |

and no, there's no room for heat spreaders on laptop ram.

| | actually, this thread's got me thinking about buying a pair of these for my Gen1 XPS. for ten bucks, if it doesn't work like advertised, not harm done. you might consider these while you've got the hatch popped open to change out your RAM.

| Ordering in a few minutes, so I'll let you know in a couple of days. I use Crucial RAM in my XPS, and they haven't let me down yet. 2 Gig's on sale, and each gig came with a free copy of Far Cry (this was a couple of years back, of course).
