Yeah... I remember paying for Office 2003 (I wasn't a student at the time) and i had to go buy the retail of the Pro version... I believe it was a few hundred...

Lucky that I found this today, as i would have simply gone and paid the full retail soon...

I got it for free from my school. Personally, I like 2003 better... but that's just me. I have the software CD's laying around somewhere..

It's a very good deal though considering the software costs 5 times more.

Office 2008 for the Mac is really nice. Seriously, it's what we've always wanted from an MS Office suite. Check it out Buddah

I know this thread is really old, but I just wanted to say thanks to Teck for posting the great deal. My school only offers the regular version of Office for a comparable price ($100), and for Ultimate... more than what I'm paying here (since my major isn't CS).
