Computer Doesn't Boot

Probably a virus called VirtuMonde... I had that once.. same shit happened too... it started popping up with advertisements.. forcing my computer to restart.. crashing explorer.exe... etc.

Format did the trick

Format is out of the question. I have way too much data to just reformat.... and I don't have pop ups and my PC is not BSODing...

so i doubt we have the same problem...

damaged hard drive, RAM, or motherboard.. maybe too much dust in the fans.. or maybe spyware/virus..

too slow to even run a scan? that blows =/

Well, I guess good luck. I'd ask dopefish.. He's saved me from a couple reformats.. and my PC related problems are almost unique lol

I haven't had a vrius since 1996.... i dont keep virus software on my PC

if i had to guess, i would say there is a problem with one of my hard drives

i think I've narrowed it down to one of my storage drives... can't open one of them....

that's where all my music is and its where i was browsing before i restarted

no offense relly, but your advice is awful... it feels like you're just posting to post... why would i bring a drive to someone if there was a possibility i could lose everything on it, then blame them for fucking it up... where would that get me?
