Slip-Streaming WinXP

I'm trying to install XP Pro on a notebook (OCZ DIY 15) that already has Vista installed on it.

If I try and boot from the XP Setup CD it will say it doesn't recognize any hard disk installed...

So...

I downloaded the chipset drivers from here; Index of /drivers/DIY_driver_XP

obviously i downloaded the one labeled chipset, unzipped the files and there are two major folders, one labeled ALL and one labeled VIsta.

I used nLite to select the ALL folder and it copies the drivers with my XP Install disc...

Burned the CD fine

Booted from CD and still get the no hard drive found error message.

Am i following the correct install procedures?

The procedure is correct. I'd make sure you got the right driver or included it on the disk in the correct way. But the procedure you're doing is the same way I do it.

You probably need the raid/sata controller drivers. Or the "F6" install driver.

hey Duke, why not do virtualization. Does it HAVE to be dual boot/maximum performance? Or do you just need XP for DJMundane tasks?
