Jimmymac loves playing with their D-key!
Kotor and Mobile ATI

Heys guys. I love playing KOTOR on my desktop and I have a 9800Pro GPU. It's crashes alot and it's the only game I play that crashes. I've read that there are alot of issues with ATI drivers and KOTOR. Do any of you guys play it on your laptops ? Do you get random crashes ?

I played it on my laptop and my geforce played it ok. Also ran fine on one of my computers with a 9700 Pro. Not a crash.

Are you using the latest drivers? Overclocking? KOTOR didn't like my overclocked 9700.

Im using the latest Omega drivers. I've gone to Biowares site and there are tons of people that have crashes with thier 9800pro. It's litterally the only game that crashes on me out of like 20 games. I dunno.

Here is the desktop I built like 5 months ago or so.

that's because bioware did the ****tiest job possible porting over KOTOR, liek many xbox ports .. they didn't even bother optimizing it for pc ... and the xbox optimizations generally dont' agree withc omputers .. uhg ... kotor gfx woudl have been 30 times better if microsoft hadne't bought bioware off.
