is this a good notebook for gaming?

hey guys well i just wanted to know if these specs. are good for a notebook....im planin on gaming on this all nite and day....so wut do u guys think?


Processor - Intel Penium M processor 1.7GHz Dothan. uFC.PGA packing, 1/2MB L2 cache. 400MHz FSB

Memory - 512MB DDR corsair 333MHzLL

Graphics Card - ATI Radeon 9700 Mobility 128MB

Sure. What games are you going to play? You might wanna wait for the mobile 9800 pro to come to the sager models if you're going to play Doom 3 and Half Life 2.

those games will run fine on your system adn you'll probably be pretty happy with how they run unless you are one of those guys who needs to max all settigns (aka all the poeple who hate doom 3 because it beats up their computers hardcore lol)

actually i changed it alil would this be good for gaming?

definitely should run fine....doom 3 on medium is a definite.....not sure about 'high'..that would be a good question...

i'm not sure how fast the dothan processors are....i have a pentium 4, socket 478 (desktop processor) 3 ghz....

dothan sounds like they follow the centrino speed factor...
