Anyone ever use an xbox controller via usb???

I know most prefer the mouse and keyboard...but I would love to play Halo, Splinter Cell, etc. with an xbox controller S...I found this link:

Has anyone tried this? If so how are your results and could you use both analog sticks for movement??? Thanks in advance...
