| | | i can imagine it adds a sense of realism, and who wouldn't want to order food from your comfy chair. "hhmm, think ill order a tab..."
I can imagine there will be a lot of restrictions, like there probably won't be a Gap or whatever in Everquest, not necessarily, i wouldnt think. it would be even more realistic for say, half life 2, to add coke bottles on the ground, and maybe some stores in city 17, at least to give you somethign to do. (that store could even sell half life propaganda or something.)

| | | personaly I do not mind advertising in Racing games for example, where the advertising normaly is ...
If the advertisement isnt supposed to be part of the visited environement (Walking on planet Mars and coming across a starbucks pannel), then I think it really gives an annoying vibe.
The worst Ive seen so far is in MMORPGs ... For example, there was this fantasy MMORPG I tried recently and I came across a giant alienware sign in town square... That seriously is kind of lame, especialy when you have 10k players paying 15 bucks monthly to play your game :|

| | | I have to agree with Kierrato in the GT games you should see ads as they are part of any racing in real life. Or in games where you are running around a modern city. But Fantasy has no place for ads to be put in without throwing the game vibe off. |

| | | In my opinion i think the only games it would be cool in (almost great) would be MMO, but only if i wouldnt have to pay for a subscription. Though i also agree it couldnt be in a game like EQII, but it would be fine in racing games or games set in present day. Or if it would help lower the prices for new games. But i dont think either one of thoose are real posibilities.

| | As with anything relating to gaming, Tim Buckley of Ctrl-Alt-Del has something to say about this:
