Van, from how I am interpreting Valve's data, you may be able to get playable (though not spectacular) frame rates, but you will have to run the game in dx8 rather than dx9. Then again, maybe a better set of drivers will fix it.

Yes Nvidia has problems with there cards right now, but ATI always has problems with drivers and shipping faulty cards. With a game like this I gaurentee that they will have the problem fixed befor or soon after game release, they realise how much money they stand to lose by not. Probably got there techys going round the clock. You also have to realise that Ati and Valve are definatly in bed in this one and have probably kept Nvidia in the dark till it was bottom of the 9th if ya catch my drift. Also be carefull how much trust you put in the Benchmarks. Becouse they ALWAYS "hand pick" the cards to be tested if you know what i mean. How long do you think Ati knew befor Nvidia what cards to test and hwo to tweak them, keeping in mind there "relationship". Just my 2 cents, take it for what its worth. No loyalties to either company, whoever gives me bang for buck wins... though Ati lost favor in my eyes with there lack of tech support.:uhoh:
