Gaming Mouse ??

What is the best gaming mouse that i can buy right now. Is it better to get wired or wireless mice for gaming? I have been looking at the razor mice...are these any good?

The Razer Diamondback has been the standard for gaming for a while now. The Logitech MX518 that has been mentioned by the people above me has the same specifications as the Diamondback, but I haven't seen any comparisons as to which is better. It should perform very similar to the Razer.

Also note: The MX518 is new, and there is a pretty high demand for it. Last time I checked (yesterday), NewEgg was sold out of them. It may take you a while to get your hands on one.

I just got the MX518 this past weekend and love it. I don't have a Razer so I can't say what that's like. But the MX518 is awesome! I love it. I also have the MX500, which is a great overall mouse, but the 518 is way better at gaming. I picked my up in store (I couldn't wait for online) from Best Buy. I picked up the last one they had in stock at mine. A week earlier they had like 5, but I didn't pick one up then. You can also go to Amazon.com. They have them in-stock AND have them for sale @ $42 w/free shipping. Get one now! :P

Yes yes, they're all quite good. I've got a Diamondback, and an MX510. This is all very interesting, but it's Ben Dunn. Search, search, search people.

Mouse, mouse, oh look, mouse. Here's one about gaming mice. Wow.

help a brother out.

On a more productive note, I still love the MX510. I just don't need that much DPI.

I'd go w/ the Logitech MX518 b/c it's slightly cheaper, feels better to me, but the biggest reason is cause there are buttons on the mouse to let you adjust dpi setting from 1600/800/400 :dude: .

*I stick w/ wire whenever I can. I still don't trust wireless.
