| | | Looking for a new mouse Ok nothing is wrong with my trackball even though I've had it for almost a decade but I think I need a new one especialy for playing games like BF2 and HL2. I like trackballs but if anyone can recommend anything new and better let me know. :cool2:

| | | Razer diamondback. Although not a trackball, it will work alot better. Have one of my own and I like the feel to it.

| | | it's either going to be a razor diamondback (i have this), razor copperhead, a logitech mx518, logitech g5, or a microsoft 1.1/explorer/3000 , these are pretty much the top mice for gaming that people debate over all the time

| | Diamondback???? Get the Copperhead if you are going to get a Razer Mouse. The G5 is also an excellent mouse, but after using my Copperhead for a while I really prefer it to the G5 if not for the sole reason that the Copperhead has a button for Forward and Back browsing. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...&Go.x=0&Go.y=0 |

| | | Personally, I have never used the Diamondback. However, I strongly recommend the mx518. I really like the fact that you can quickly switch between 1600/800/400 dpi, depending on what you are doing. Finally, I've used a lot of mouse, and this one is the most comfortable to hold and use in every situation I've encountered (with my laptop in the airport, in a tent, on my thigh, ...).
However, as LuckXIII pointed out, all these mice are top quality, so it goes on personal preference (try to go to a store and test it out) or price (if it is even a factor).

| | | I love my G15's accuracy and speed, however reliability is subpar at best. I'm on my second one now, the first one's left button stopped working, and this one periodicly stops working completely...:thumbdown |

| | | well I woulda gotten the copperhead but at the time it was about $90 and the diamondback was only $40. And seeing that there really isn't a noticable difference between the two, and the fact that I didn't have much $$$ I went with the cheaper one. =)
