| | | there were some UMPC's with fantastic on screen keyboards, real future lookin shit. I think the only reason the thumb keyboard (half on each side) hasn't really taken off on with smart devices is because the screens got too small

| | | the umpc/mid will make a comeback, have no doubt, once they come in at a decent price when compared to mainstream laptops. They will at least have side button controls along with touchscreens, and some will have full keyboards. Most will also have on-screen keyboards, so you can pick what you like.
Yes, buttons wear out, but they also offer unhindered view of the screen, which on smaller devices is a bonus.
