No idea when that is, but they're moving right along.

| | | meh, I'm just frustrated because phones are becoming more and more like the notebook market every month, and that's both a good and bad thing in many regards...the new technology and added features are great...but the prices and uncertainty of delivery aren't (especially considering most are tied to lenghty contracts)...
best example I can give at the moment is that I'm at the point where I need a new phone, but I don't really want to take the plunge at the moment because of what should be coming out on the market in the next couple months (new iPhone, Nokia S60 FP2, Google Android, etc)...now I'm stuck playing the waiting game to see what (if anything comes out), how it fares and if it meets my needs...yes, I probably wind up getting a good product in the end, but the process can be maddening...

I'm waiting for something like this, I use iGoogle Religiously!1 I use everything. Gmail, google Calendar, Maps, Documents, Picasa, thinking about using GHealth.... and once this fucker comes out its gonna give me my information ANYWHERE I FRIGGIN PLEASE....
Yesterday i took an all day class at work about "time management".. the instructor was hired and brought in to our company to give us tips on how to use Outlook better, organize our meetings, tasks, events etc... i approached her at lunch and asked if i could showcase igoogle, how i use it, and how you can link it with pretty much every phone.. the entire class including the instructor was stunned at the complexity and thought that is put into every google feature...
i cant wait. |

| | | what i really like about giving everything to google (like health records) is that there is no way to contact them in an emergency situation. No phone number, rarely a response by email.
I also like how everything is "Beta" so they have no accountability. Gmail has been around for years and it's still "Beta". Christ almighty, release it already.
I like google, i love my gmail, but I wouldn't put everything under google forever and ever, amen.
and while I give two shits about privacy when it comes to my healthcare records, I still wouldn't drop them all online to Google's servers.

| | | cloud apps = online apps, browser based, no desktop application necessary.
