I think it's disappointmenting that this is called a 9800 when it performs more like a theoretical 8800gx2 and 9800gtx is looking to have around 8800ultra preformance for a cheaper price not the kinda of performance jump they have had in the past with new cards.

It's good for people that don't have SLI motherboard
I think I said that above

I guess it's on sale now, with the same specs as the crap article.
PNY XLR8 GeForce 9800 GX2 Video Card - 1GB GDDR3, PCI Express 2.0, SLI Ready, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDMI VCG98GX2XPB at TigerDirect.com

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

I know XFX doesn't do that kind of deal but they do the Two Time Lifetime Warranty. If you decide to sell your card to someone they can also apply for lifetime warranty also. even if you broke it cause of overclocking. I think evga does the trade-up thing though.

Uh (hopefully UI won't yell at me for saying this) but eVGA has had a similar problem for several years.

The downside is that the thing is rumored to suck down 250 watts. and I believe it. That's not small. anyone running two of those together will need at least a 1K watt unit.
One of the things a lot of people don't consider is much over 1200 watts, you're going to need a dedicated line from your breaker box. Plug in your PC, monitor, have a light or 2 on the circuit... then your GPU really starts to spool up and... the room goes dark.
