Evga 460 to Evga 660 Upgrade Using Arma3 as a Benchamark

Now before you guys read all of this shit ! Arma3 is a BITCH ! of a game to eek frame rates out of, however,
since I am playing Arma3 just now, and since it's a bitch ... I thought it would be and interesting Benchmark
to do. I video'd most of the banality .. take from it what you will .. I just hope it might help someone if they are
in the midst of a decision to upgrade.

Apologies in advance if I ramble ... I was drunk about 56% of the time.

    Benchmarking the EVGA 460

Benchmarking the EVGA 660 (Same Graphics Settings as 460)

EVGA 660 FULL BORE on my PC Specs

Overall I saw an average of 42.3 % increase in Framerate from the standard setting I had in Arma3 from the 460SE
I saw an 18% increase in performance in framerate even when I turned the 660 up to MAX everything in Arma3

Overall I am EXTREMELY happy with my STOCK install of the 660 which is all the above.

I STILL have to mess with ALL the OC features of the card and also the settings in Arma 3 to find the sweet spot.

I expect to see an even further increase in performance from other standard games, which, if I find, I will post.

    System Specs
    Intel i7 870 2.93Ghz - Asus P7P55D-E LX Mobo - 8GB DDR1600
    1TB HD 7200 - EVGA Geforce 660 4GB - Ultra 750W PSU
    Shitty Keyboard / Mouse

Meh .... that's a lot of video crap to watch with me haverin' on.

MAX Settings I mean just turning everything up full bore, even if I wouldn't play the game like that !

WARTHUNDER - MAX Settings Averaged 90-100fps
JUST CAUSE 2 - MAX Settings Benchmark Option 3 maps Capped out at 59.97 fps (it wouldn't let the GC go any higher lol)

METRO : Last Night - Max Settings 60fps most of the time with the game capping it at 60.

Well that's sold it for me ..... very pleased with the 660 overall.
The Precision X software kept the card at a cool 51 Degrees throughout 2 hours of playing Metro.

    Woot !

I think currently the 660Ti is the current best-bang-for-your-buck card - that's pretty cool from a 460 to a 660 for sure! augh... to have around $300 to replace my two 5770's :P
