You don't have to upgrade it will do a full install. I downloaded the iso file then burned it to disk.Then formatted my harddrive and installed from cd. It will ask you if you want to upgrade or do a full install.

The official discs should work fine, should be basically the same thing as downloading the iso and burning a disc like Rage did. Unless they somehow nerfed them, but I'm pretty sure MS is too lazy to go through all that effort.

i bought Profession w/ the academic deal and installed it w/ the iso the day it came out. Haven't even opened the envelope w/ my "Official Disks" in it, lol.

Awesome Rage and everyone else, that's good to know. I haven't opened my disks either. I got the regular version from the student discount, only because I didn't know you could get the pro. I was like a kid in a candy store when I found out about this, and just got what was in front of my eyes, not the good stuff in the back.
