I actually don't use any widgets in Win7. I don't like how they're always on. I prefer the OS X version where they hide until called upon. |

I use the MSN weather gadget, but that's all. There are a bunch of CPU and memory monitors, but I think it would get annoying having spikey graphs scroll across the desktop constantly.
Also, here's a neat little app for changing the logon screen background. Tweaks.com Logon Changer for Windows 7

MSN weather is the same thing basically. It just shows a couple more days out and has a few more links for details.
