$199? Sure.. 3 easy payments of $199, due when you buy the tablet. The N7 is $199 and with production labor costs and parts, costs them $199. Now, double the RAM, double the storage, up the screen size to 10", and factor in everything else the Surface will have that the N7 won't. Not happening.

Lenovo says Win RT tablets are going to be priced at aggressive price points. so maybe $200 won't happen but perhaps $300
Lenovo: Windows RT tablets will be priced “at very aggressive price points” | WMPoweruser

You know if someone got the whole PC/Tablet/Phone inter-operation right they could win over a ton of users, for Win 8/RT/WP8 you need a LiveID, so you could even have the same apps on all 3 devices just by logging in, and you could easily synch any media from Skydrive. Well it would work for the Immersive/Metro/Win8 style apps not the legacy type stuff.

the 3 new phones from Nokia for the WP8 launch look interesting. Is this Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 range? | WMPoweruser
