the internet has brought politics to the masses, and the masses are dumb. they eat up everything they're told, and repeat it like parrots.

| | | I'm dead serious - when gas isn't in your everyday bills, you don't really notice the price. Same with plane tickets, food, rent... they live mostly on our dime, so they have very little capacity for empathy.

| | | I agree, but I think it's also more. It's a form of control. I believe the liberal ideal would have 90% of everyones paycheck going to government. Then the government would dole out healthcare entitlements, food entitlements, gasoline entitlements, etc.
It's the lefts worst nightmare to have everyone keep the money they make and thrive. It would mean they're not necessary. That big government is not necessary. That the economy, when left alone, grows and prospers.
