probably because they cant see it. they hate republicans so much they don't really care or they just go party line no matter what or some other reason. I never understood the following under Clinton other than the guy was a great orator. Maybe based on feelings? the whole "shiver up the leg" kinda thing? The other thing that doesn't make any sense to me is that Obama is an absolutely horrible speaker.. what does he have? All I can think of is that he's just so dang hyped up beyond reason by the media. Maybe like all the hype about Crysis... looked great, people talked it up all the time... and then you play it and it just was severely lacking (though i've only played the demo on rather low settings).

I'm not sayin the GOP side is any better, but they're definately a different group. I'm with DC, mostly because he opened my eyes to it. I'm a conservative, and unfortunately, neither side really has places for conservatives these days. A democrat would be fine depending on his or her voting record.. actions speak way louder than words, even louder than Clinton convention speeches. I wouldn't care by whatever means were used to get a good person into office, as long as it worked. Unfortunately, the two people to pick from are usually whackos, because that's the typical end result of each party doing their best to destroy the other one. And it's obvious this "change" methodology appeals to the uneducated masses, and a true conservative would NEVER campaign under that banner. Ultimately, everyone loses out.

Of course, there are plenty of people that love far left or far right, liberal nutjobs, and that will never change, and I'm sure the things I say would make their blood boil..

A couple of my aunts are up here at the hospital and we're waiting while my great aunt is in surgery. While my dad and I are distressed we might miss tonights preseason game, my one aunt is truly upset she'll miss Emporer Obama's coronation. I told her not to worry- they just decided to skip the election and make him president bt acclaimation. I got a nasty look.

I'd really resolved not to engage anyone in politics... I really did.
But my great aunt made it through surgery like a champ, so when the aunt from earlier started yapping a bunch of Obama talking points, I pounced
"4 more years of Bush!"
4 more years of Jimmy Carter
"We need change!"
Then why a 35 year entrenched senator as VP?
"If you're smart and caring, you'd support Obama!"
Hamas, Hezbollah, Ahmadinejad, William Ayers, Tony Rezko, Reverend Wright and the communist party support him.
I then went on to explain how the top 50% of wage earners pay 96% of the taxes, how he's changed specific stances over and over and how he's going to raise my taxes.
She's clearly surrounded by Obama drones, so she couldn't answer any of the facts I offered.
