Final Fantasy X Ending

hi guys,
first time i post in the off-topic forum but this time i really have to write down whats going through my mind. i have been a final fantasy fan ever since i played final fantasy 8. i was surprised a game could be so touching and cool and loooong. so i was a ff fan since then and i bought ff9 and ff7 and loved this 'playstation final fantasy trilogy' very much. in 2002 i think i bought a ps2 along with final fantasy x. because i was a fan of the playstion 1 ones i really wanted to play more ff. well but in 2002 i played through it and it was a mediocre title in my eyes then. i couldn't walk on a world map, i didn't understand all the english dialogues and had to play with german subtitles (which are based on the original japanese voice acting so they differ quite a bit from the english spoken stuff) so you can say it was a nice experience but didn't really satisfy me. BUT i was 15 back then and well never experienced love. i just had some 'good relationship' if you wanna call it like that

it may sound stupid but it changed my whole experience with the game. i've fallen in love with a girl 2 years ago and we are a couple since then. i never want another girl you know? i'm so in love that i have nightmares of her dying every second night or so and that for about 2 years now. she's my one and only and i want that to last till my life ends. that may sound stupid again, but that's how i feel.

so i played this game again and this thing that happens in the end, tidus disappearing and yuna losing the one she loves (and tidus losing the one he loves and losing his life at the same time) and there is nothing, JUST NOTHING they can do about it made me cry. yes i cried. and for 2 years now i only cry after one of those nightmares with my girlfriend dying. (not crying loudly just 1 or 2 tears running out of my eyes, i'm jut totally sad)

this desperate situation those two are in is the same as when my girlfriend leaves with her car. i cannot do anything for her then and i can only think about what happens if an idiot crashes in her car. i cannot help her in a situaion like that. that may sound stupid AGAIN...

so... erm.. did you enjoy ffx? did you have similar feelings like me? are you in love?

i mean real love when it hurts everytime he/she leaves.

I didn't feel what you felt after beating FFX, BUT i will say, the entire FF series owns me. From what I can tell, looking back at the games is like looking back into my childhood and middle school. When I first beat FFVII how amazed I was at the CGI. How I Remember loving the commercials and seeing them on TV... the guy with the deep voice.... I remember playing the game, not having a care in the world… spending hours reading through the strategy guide, marking up mistakes with a sharpie. I ended up beating FFVII 5 or 6 times… It’s just one of those games that really made an impact on me… esp the ending, and not really understanding it then, but kinda thinking about the ending and what I really means… that’s why they call em Fantasy… great games… The LOVE theme is seen a lot in FFVIII as well… and VIII has the best soundtrack IMO…

yea ff8 has the best soundtrack. and the best intro. the love theme in ff8 is different though as it has a happy end. and yes the series owns me too

you cried? errr.... FFX rocks, FF7 rocks. Both are great FF7 is my fave. Aerith dying was tear jeaking moment.

FFX was awesome. So were the rest of the Final Fantasies.
