FF 4 and 12 are wayyy different. there arent any random battles in 12. you can see all of the enemies right in front of you, and run around most of them. some of them you are basically forced to fight within a certain range of area, but you can get around most of them. dungeons are harder to avoid enemies because the pathways are narrow compared to ares outisde of cities.
sadly ive only put about 12 hours onto the game, even though i really really like it. with my css addiction and school work and social life ff12 is kind of on the back burner, though im definately going to make more time for the game because i love it. even though i hate some of it.
