Yes Squirr3l_Ma5t3r, I am totally addicted to this game. Not only do I jam at home, but I bring it over to my friends and we all rock out together! This past weekend I think I made another GH addict (a cute girl at my bud's Halloween party!) We mostly played the 4 song GH2 demo and I'm totally stoked for the full version next Tuesday. I'm going to attempt to pick up the 10 song demo before this weekend.

Also don't you fret Xbox 360 owners, GH2 has been confirmed to be released, probably Spring '07. One really cool feature is that you'll be able to download new songs from the Marketplace. Here's hoping for online multiplayer! (Although that would probably be really tough with lag and what not.)

Below is the 24 bonus tracks that you can unlock. (The bolded tracks are one's that I think are awesome.)

The Las Vegas - Raw Dog
Drist - Arterial Black
Anarchy Club - Collide
That Handsome Devil - Elephant Bones
Valient Thorr - Fall of Pangea
VAGIANT - FTK
Brian Kahanek - Gemini
Bang Camaro - Push Push (Lady Lightning)
The Acrobrats - Laughtrack
Freezepop - Less Talk More Rokk
Buckethead - Jordan
The Amazing Royal Crowns - Mr. Fix-It
Every Time I Die - The New Black
Artillery - One For the Road
The Neighborhoods - Parasite
Count Zero - Radium Eyes
MEGASUS - Red Lottery
All That Remains - Six
Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives - Soy Bomb
Shadows Fall - The Light That Blinds
DETHKLOK - Thunder Horse
Strong Bad - Trogdor
Voivod - X-Stream
Made in Mexico - Yes We Can

Cool! Where do you work?
I want to try to nab a copy from somewhere... Hopefully the Gamestop in my area are full of cool people. (Like the EB Games was before it shut down.)

I work at Gamestop. Our store got a demo, but it seems the other one 10 minutes away hasn't gotten theirs yet. If the employees are cool there, they might let you hook up another guitar for some mutliplayer fun.

Well I went to BB to pick up the game then went to Hooters. Got home too late on Tuesday to play.

So I didn't get to play it until last night. The game rocks. Of course. Cool songs. Much easier HOPOs. Practice mode is cool. Graphics are maybe a bit more cleaner than GH1. I love the the fact that when playing multiplayer, each player gets to choose their difficulty level. I also love the new co-op mode. I only played the demo multiplayer so far, but this weekend will be GH2 party! Woo!

There is one and only one really negative thing about the game.
I noticed some video sync (like a dramatic frame rate drop) during some parts of some songs. That sucked. I don't remember which songs, but there were either on Medium or Hard. I don't mean the "calibrate lag" setting for HDtvs. I fixed that and it was working fine. I mean this was like a frame rate drop for a few seconds during a song.

Some people have reported of freezing problems at Guitar Hero forums...
