| | | Mine crapped out right after I did an update, and every time one comes up, I always get a little apprehensive about installing it. But that was about a week before GTA IV came out, so This one has been working fine since

| | | I finished the single player campaign a few days ago, would have been sooner, but I'm ultra busy this summer. I would have to rank this in my top 3 favorite games ever played. The online is immersive and fun, although some people are so good it can discourage others.
If you don't have 5.1 surround sound, I feel bad for you because Konami spent a lot of money and time on the audio department (I watched the scenes in the bonus stuff on the limited edition disc)... this has probably some of the best sound I've heard yet in any video game and that's saying a lot.
The music cd (limited edition) is very nice, especially 13-16, and 1-2, and 10, all great songs.
The biggest con of the game in my opinion isn't the install times, I actually liked those because I actually did take a break during those times for other activities... ya know like food and water lol. But the biggest con (to me) is that they wasted probably like 500mb-1gb of space of those stupid Logan commercial things, yeah they are quite unique but pointless imo.. they could've added a few more goodies in the game with that space.
I'm all in the MGS mood now, and went out and bought the Metal Gear Solid: The Essentials Collection which includes:
Metal Gear Solid (PSX) [I somehow lost mine few years ago]
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (PS2)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (PS2) [only con is they removed the second disc which includes the first two MG games from 1987/1990 on the MSX... but I bought the original mgs 3 subsistence game used for 15 to remedy that lol]
I really want to play Portable Ops now, but I don't want to buy a PSP for 150-199.
Tried to get the Limited Edition guide for a) just to have b) it's better than most online guides c) fantastic toilet reading material
but it's sold out at every store near me.
Anyways, I highly recommend you play mgs1-3 (especially 2 and 3) before playing this for the full experience and so you understand it. That or download the MGS Database from PSN store (wonderful app) and read it for hours.
I love this game, and you should too.
Duke your name is DukeFrukem on the PS3 right?

| I don't think I can officially number my top 3 as in this is better than that.. but I suppose the other two games that left a great impression on my gaming life would probably be FF7, and either mgs or some snes game.. don't ask me to do this it's too hard. I loved all of the MGS's, especially the first one. I loved FF3 (6), definitely 7, 8 was great, 9 never played, 10 was awesome, never played 11, 12 was eh...., 13 will hopefully be amazing. super mario games are classics, hmm.....goldeneye/perfect dark.. etc. MGS4 was just completely amazing and I'm not saying that because of the whole "I just bought it faze," like most people commit.
After about 5 more play throughs I'm gonna attempt the BIG BOSS Emblem/ranking.. beat it in 5 hours, no alerts (ugh), no kills, no rations/health items, no special items, only like 5 ppl on ps3forums have signed the thread for completing it so far... Act 5 on that is going to be insane with all of those FROGS everywhere...
anyways, have to go to the airport
btw duke accept my friend thing lol

| | | YAY! Gonna get a new Sixaxis, but have to pay for shipping to the facility... boo. Just beat Laughing Ovtopus, but didn't kill her, got the seceret item, sweet. This game has given me at least 3 heart attacks so far, and sometimes I find myself getting a little scared about going into dark hallways, or caves. The interactive cutscenes are also awesome so you can get a different viewpoint of the situation and possibly get a glimpse of what might be to come... you'll see if you haven't already. Now on the mission where you have to track the footprints.
My friend actually got anxiety attack from playing the game when he bought it the first day, not sure if he's played single player since lol
So many weapons, this game is flippin sweet
oh and dcikra, add me on yor friends list too
