Not really a rumor, just an interpretation of this blog post. Man... sounds like they are in research of finding out what was wrong with the last two titles the released...and maybe to begin development of the next twisted metal?? The second one was truly the best.. but I would LOVE for a new twisted metal on the PS3... Twisted Metal Black was such a disappointment
.: TWISTED METAL DOCUMENTARY Quote:
Hey! We are going to be shooting a documentary/round table discussion on the Twisted Metal series. The piece will be used for something I can't talk about right now (sorry about that!) but for those out there who consider themselves fans of the series, I was hoping you could do us a favor: We are trying to make a list of the issues/questions we want to address in the doc and we want to make sure we hit the things Twisted Metal fans want to know about. So:
If you have any questions that you would like us to answer/address in the doc, please send them to the comments section in this blog. These can be questions about the series overall, or about a specific title in the series. And the questions can be as specific or macro as you'd like them to be. If we use your question, let us know if we can mention your name or handle in the doc; if you don't want us to, let us know in the comment.
Not sure how many Twisted fans are reading this blog but if you are out there, let me know if you can help us out!
Thanks in advance!

December 4, 2007 Update
Even with the
recent news of the new Twisted Metal PSP port, there is still a lot of rumors flying around the internet that hint of a Playstation 3 Twisted Metal game. Going back to July of this year, when Sony released a picture of a mushroom cloud that eluded to an image of Sweet Tooth (a Twisted Metal character), but most people have believe it was just an marketing example which resembled how much fun you can have with a PS3. Needless to say, with
comments like these coming from David Jaffe (director of the Twisted Metal series) the hint of another TW metal game is promising.
