PS3 Twisted Metal 6 (Rumor)

Not really a rumor, just an interpretation of this blog post. Man... sounds like they are in research of finding out what was wrong with the last two titles the released...and maybe to begin development of the next twisted metal?? The second one was truly the best.. but I would LOVE for a new twisted metal on the PS3... Twisted Metal Black was such a disappointment

December 4, 2007 Update

Even with the recent news of the new Twisted Metal PSP port, there is still a lot of rumors flying around the internet that hint of a Playstation 3 Twisted Metal game. Going back to July of this year, when Sony released a picture of a mushroom cloud that eluded to an image of Sweet Tooth (a Twisted Metal character), but most people have believe it was just an marketing example which resembled how much fun you can have with a PS3. Needless to say, with comments like these coming from David Jaffe (director of the Twisted Metal series) the hint of another TW metal game is promising.

Did you ever play Rogue Trip? I heard it was the same developers that did the first two Twisted Metal games. All I remember was that it was fun as hell.

ive played 1-thru-black (black was ****ing really twisted and sick btw, kinda games i like)

I've loved all the ones I've played, except after 989 took hold of TM and just shat all over it. TM2 was definitely my favorite, and Black was pretty sweet too. Some of the level designs were less than impressive, but on a whole, it was still an awesome and dark TM experience. I'd love to see a PS3 version in the works. Singletrac was my favorite PS1 developer back when they were around.

Hmmm I liked TM4, don't think I played much of TM2 I'll have to find a copy and play it.

The the last few (TM:B, TM:Head-On, TM: Small Brawl) were ok at best. Too bad I probably won't be getting a PS3 to play it
