Sony PSP Movies with Subtitles

I'm about to buy a 2GB MagicGate Pro Duo memory card today, but I need to know if we rip a movie out of DVD and compress it to play on PSP, will the subtitle feature will still be preserved and be playable on PSP? Its really important for me to able to have a subtitle feature.

Thanks in advance, guys!

Probably not easily. The subtitles are usually in a seperate .vbs file and most of the tools I've seen only work on the vbs file(s) containing the main portion of the movie.

I'm sure its possible to get them added on, I just have never found a way to do it.

Great! Thank you guys very much. I'll experiment on Wednesday when my memory stick arrives (downgraded to 1 GB though).

U should stick with sandisk mem sticks for
A: cheaper price
B: faster then sony shitsticks pro duo : magicgate

OnTopic:
yes you can stick captions into your Ripped DvDs
first of all you need to learn how to do so
Pspcrazy.com
its a good place to look for tutorials
I heard 'AVI Recomp' burns the subs right into the AVI I havent tried.
if you good hard enough u'll find a tutorial on how to do it.
I did it once but it took over 3 hours...not going to bother doing it again.

Yeah, tha'ts what I got. Sandisk 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo.

I've looked around a while ago to find a way to imprint subtitles into the mp4 file. Most of them showed a long and complicated way to do it, so I've decided to buy a PSP Movie Maker. Now with that pspcraze.com website, theres a good tutorial in there that shows you how to do it. I wish I've known about pspcraze.com! Well, at least I know now ha. Here's the tutorial if you guys want to know a quick and easy way to paint subtitle to an mpeg4 file.

Thanks, Shinobe!
