| | | I have it. The game is badass. Kind of a cross between GTA 3 and Vice City, but takes place in Liberty City (GTA 3's location). Overall, it suffers from the same blurring problem that was in GTA 3 as well. But it looks just as good as GTA3 and the controls are pretty good too once you get used to them. If you have a need to carjack people on the go, i'd definately recommend it.

| | | Was VERY impressed with the graphics and the controls for that matter. I didn't think I would like it since I would compare it to what I have played on the PC and XBOX, but I love it! |

| | | Ahh, just logged on to see what others impressions were of GTA for psp. I picked this up 2 days ago.
Overall the graphics and performance are impressive. It feels like they took the GTA 3 and through it all on a handheld, but added some of Vice City into the mix. The sound seems to lag a bit when getting into vehicles because it seems to search and start the games "radio" station. That usually leads to it pausing all sound for a 1-3 seconds till it all loads.
Overall it isn't for me though. I found that they seemed to pack to much into the lil game. It's almost as if they took the console version and just shrunk it down. That sounds like a great idea, but with the little screen, it makes it hard to see what is up ahead when you want to quickly zip through the streets on your motorcycle, etc. I tried turning the brightness up all the way in the game, along with on the psp, and it made a little difference, but not enough to keep from holding it really close to my face to figure out what was coming from up ahead.
I'm thinking it would work great if I were to play it in a dark room, but if I wanted to play the game in a dark room, I would just throw in San Andreas and play it on the big screen. Overall, the game is great if you do not have a problem with there being that much stuff crammed on the small display, and if you can get past it being a little dark. Other then that, it seems to play like the console version of GTA 3. |

| | | the game is the best game for the psp ever. and i own wipeout armored core, burnout, twisted metal, dead to rigths reckoning sw bfII coded arms. the works. this game is wayy better than GTA3 and adds all the cool elements except a few from vice city and sa. only minor annoyance: cant swim anymore. i think it looks better graphics wise than gta 3 and it is almost on par with vice city, except vice's level is just better looking.

| | | I heard Lazlow on O&A repeats that he and his brother where on a plane, both had PSP's and playing GTA:LCS. Only reason that tidbit surfaced was his reference of asking his brother, while on the plane in flight, "hey where's the rocket launcher?"
Which leads me to think that LCS is co-op when playing in ad-hoc mode??
