| | | PSP Emulators Hey, i got a PSP and i wanna downgrade it so i can run emulators and games off my memory stick. I used to do this a long time ago but i have no idea how to do it now. I have version 3.71 and i dont really feel like buying 40$+ games so i'd rather download em and run em off my memory stick. I know you can do this but i just dont know HOW to do it. Does anyone here know? If so, do you wanna help me with it? Thanks guys. |

| | Here's a good site for psp homebrew stuff.
It looks like the only downgraders are for 3.50 currently though. But this might have some helpful tidbits of info in it.

| | Oh, you might want to keep this handy just in case you accidentally brick your PSP

: 70 th | | | Right now you are in kind of a pickle...
You have 1 (one) option. That is using the aforementioned Pandora's battery to downgrade to 1.5 and then upgrade to 3.71 M33-2.
However what you are also asking is piracy, and I, along with sR do not want to have anything to do with that.

| | | I can't believe you guys are helping him. He is blatantly talking about piracy. This is ridiculous.
How about you go out and buy the games? You can then make a backup of the disc and play it off of your memory stick. Don't be a sore loser and resort to piracy.

| | | I make a lot of backups due to the sheer amount of space on my memory cards (like ace combat and gta, some roms, and a shitload of music), and the additional speed boosts. Technically though, the act of making personal backsup is illegal. I really could give to flying fvcks about that though; if I buy the movie/game for myself, I'm going to do whatever I want to it, so long as I'm not distributing it across the nation.

| | | If he's the one doing illegal stuff, it is his problem to deal with. However, the part he was asking for help with was how to get homebrew to work, and that is not illegal, Sony just doesn't like it.

| | | Damn guys, you dont have to get so sensitive about it...after all it's only SONY. They make billions, anyway i'm not planning on selling the games or anything like that. I just want it for myself so I can play SNES and sh!t like that on my PSP. Anyway, if it bothers people so much then, can someone just show me how to back up a game on my computer so i can run it off my memory card? This will be just as useful, this way i dont have to walk around with my bag jiggling and klanking with UMD's. I could just walk around with one or a couple of memory cards. Let me know if you can chode, or anyone else for that matter. | | |
