Got my PSP (last week)

All I can say is, go buy one when they come out. The graphics are AMAZING, the gameplay is amazing and everything else you can think of.

Graphics: 25x better than the DS, the LCD monitor is very bright and rich in details. The large size makes it very easy to see whats going on around you.

Did I mention the LCD proves to be a very good mirror?

Sound: Very loud and clear, high quality audio. Haven't tried out the headphones that come with it yet.

Controls: The analog stick makes it very easy to move around/control; best feature of the PSP IMO.

Layout: Very sleek and professional looking. 20 total buttons on the PSP including the power and eject.

UMD (Mini Discs): kept in protective case, but the exposed portion makes it easy to get fingerprints on and etc. The disc holder seems poorly designed, doesn't seem to go with the PSP's layout. However, the PSP logo is very sexy (where the UMD's are held).

Battery Life: About 4 hours of gameplay in Ridge Racers, 2 hours on movies and not sure yet about music

That is definitely going to be an impulse buy! Don't put that near the checkout!

Does the disk on yours pop out if you twist it slightly?

I really doubt the graphics are 20x better than DS. I have seen screenshots, more like twice as good polygon wise. 4 hours is better than I expected, but that's not as good as the DS battery life. Were there any other good games other than Ridge Racer?

No, this has never happened to me and I don't see how it is possible. I've tried shaking it violently while playing and no dice, the guy who says that happens mustive really messed his PSP up.

Yeah, 20x better is overrated, but they are a lot better.

Where you playing a movie from the Memory stick and got 2 hours? Or was that playing a UMD movie? Are there UMD movies out already?

Rpg's I meant. Those games aren't that interesting inmo. Gt4 is ok, but again I don't like cars that much. Tony Hawk could be cool, if it at least based on the latest one. And don't give me that metal gear acid crap. That's a fancy card game. If it were a true metal gear solid like the Gameboy color one released several years ago, I would buy it.
